Outreach
The following details my involvement with different associations throughout my academic career.
Japanese Cultural Association

From 2022-2025, I have been an active member of the Japanese Cultural Association (JCA) at Clemson University. As vice-president and president, we led events that would promote Japanese culture to students who had an interest. We would hose various actives such as cooking nights, calligraphy, origami nights, and other events to promote the culture. It served as a pivotal moment in my college career and was a major highlight as I found a group of people I relate to.
Japanese America Association of South Carolina
Throughout my college career, I have volunteered at JAASC for various events. During the autumn season, I helped with the Obon festival. I worked in the front and would process guests into the event. The Obon festival is a great way to promote Japanese culture and enjoy traditional festivities. The event is one of my favorite as it serves as a place where I can hang out with friends and enjoy their company.
